PRESIDENTS MESSAGE Hello everyone. I trust your August time slots of things to do does not get overloaded. I do want to say a sincere thank you to all who have participated in some fashion with improvements to the firearms range. It was a lot of work but the range looks cleaner and more open. At our August 13th meeting there will be a review of the proposed range rules (updated), review work accomplished and work remaining. Please come to the meeting to discuss any changes or options you feel might be important. All firearms range users are invited to come early and see the range prior to our 6 pm meeting start time. Thanks. Also, just prior to the meeting start, several of our scholarship winners may attend. All have been invited. Three confirmed, and then one may have a new conflict, so maybe two will attend. Photos will be made and a special news release will go out later. Our Ikes chapter will also receive an award from National.... to be presented by State Ikes Division member Dale Braun regarding our website revamping. Our sizzling summer time activities are up and running. Before we know it, summer will be history. Autumn season will be looked forward to as cooler weather and hunting seasons begin anew. Take care.
